Michael Grigsby served in two of the Marine Divisions, 1st Marine Div.& 5th Marine Div.

He served in Vietnam with "K" CO, 3rd BN, 7th MAR, 1st Marine Division; FMF from December 1967 through May 1968. He was wounded twice during the Tet offensive of 1968 and was processed back stateside June 1968.

Mike is a Life Member and current Adjutant/Finance Officer of The Military Order of the Purple Heart, Department of Idaho and Chapter 509, in Boise, Idaho.  He is a Life member of the Disabled American Veterans, the Marine Corps League and Veterans of Foreign Wars.  He is also a member of the American Legion, Marine Corps Military Order of the Devil Dogs, "Kilo" 3/7 Association, and is the state of Idaho Management Assistance Council representative VISN(20) serving veterans in Alaska, Idaho, Oregon, and Washington.
