If you participate in PADI's Discover Scuba or Discover Scuba Diving experience program,
you may be able to receive credit for these experiences toward earning your PADI Scuba Diver
limited certification or PADI Open Water Diver certification.
The new PADI Scuba Diver rating is a pre-entry level certification that allows you to dive
to a maximum depth of 12 metres/40 feet under the direct supervision of a dive professional.
Additionally, you may obtain air fills, scuba equipment and other services when diving under
supervision and continue your dive training to achieve the PADI Equipment Specialist rating
or PADI Open Water Diver rating.
