Who are those people in inner-tubes floating down the Boise River?
People who know how to have a couple of hours of fun for free!  Putting in at Barber Park and taking out at Ann Morrison Park takes about three hours. If you don't mind walking a block or two, you can avoid the parking fee in Barber Park.  If you don't own your own tube, rental tubes and rafts are available at Barber.  This Boise native highly recommends lifejackets, as drownings occur almost every year mainly due to alcohol and lack of lifejackets.  Don't let that discourage you, if you can swim and wear a lifejacket, it's a blast!
